SEO basics: help the right people find your articles.
Understand search intent before writing a headline. A first lesson in SEO for beginners.
Every search starts with a question
Someone searching “what is marketing” needs a different answer from someone searching “how to write a marketing plan”. The first may need an explanation; the second may need steps and examples. Before writing, consider what the reader wants to achieve.
Write clearly, rather than stuffing keywords
Use clear titles, meaningful headings and practical examples to help readers find answers. Include relevant terms naturally. Repeating keywords is no substitute for useful content.
Make reading easy
Articles should be easy to read on a phone, links should work, and images should have appropriate alt text. SEO involves continually improving both your content and your website. Rankings depend on many factors.
